Students 12 years older and above are invited to take the Pfizer Vaccine.
As a part of the government’s initiative to facilitate face-to-face classes soon, students from grades 10 – 13 are invited to take the COVID-19 Pfizer vaccine at the following vaccination sites from Saturday August 21, 2021 to Tuesday August 24, 2021:
Portmore HEART Academy
Eltham High School
Dinthill Technical High School
Old Harbour High School
Jago Park Health Centre
Guys Hill High School (Monday and Tuesday Only)
Students who will be visiting the sites for the vaccine should take the following documents with them:
Government Issued Identification (Passport, Voters ID, Drivers’ Licence). If the child does not have any government identification, a passport-size picture and a letter stamped by a Justice of the Peace will suffice. The school identification will also suffice.
Birth Certificate
Parents/guardians are encouraged to accompany the child to the site where they may also receive the vaccine. If parents/guardians are not able to accompany their child/ward, then a consent letter must also be presented indicating that the parent/guardian consents to the child receiving the vaccine.
Please also remember to observe the COVID-19 protocols as you travel to the vaccination site. Please be safe.
