Students will now be asked to produce their identification card for late log processing.
Starting January 2018, all students arriving after 8am must produce their identification card to prove their identity for late log processing. This measure aims to reduce the instance of fraudulent behaviour on the part of students. Some students were found to be entering other students name in the late log due to their own concerns that their names have been entered too many times. In addition to combat fraudulent conduct, the school administration would like to ensure that the late log data is accurate as some parents have expressed concerns that the late counts may not be accurate. Students who are unable to produce their identification would have to solicit assistance from a member of staff to identify him/her.
Students can now access their identification cards at the computer lab. Mr Banton is the school official who issues the identification cards. Those students who lost their identification cards may purchase a new one at the main office. The current cost for the identification card is $500. Students who arrive to school before the late log entries begin WILL NOT require an identification card for admission to school.
